Meet Nigel Gibbon Sand Scorcher Driver and smoker, still needs a bit of work to finish some cutting in, a few more coats on his skid lid, some darker shades on his face and chrome on the wheel.
Started by removing the mold lines and tree stumps, and cut his face up a bit he looked like Quasimodo out of the box, cut his wired left eye lump and the lump on his head off and gave him a upper lip line, (started well) primed with Car primer spray then went to my parents to pick up my box of old airfix/warhammer paints, which where all pretty much mank and useless, the only ones to stand the test of time where my citadel miniature acrylics, so his helmet is snot green his suit is hawk turquoise, gloves are snakebite leather and a bit of skull white matt black and red mixed for his face.
(note to self must get new paints)
Went a bit wrong and he has ended up a bit of a mess (L.U.K.E understand why you don't like drivers now, thought it would be relaxing, it kind of was but its not the finish I wanted) but old Nigel will do the job and whilst smoking a roll up. Looking forward to my next driver will spray the skid lid though to get a better finish and hopefully get a better finish all round with some fresh paint, this crud must be 10 years old some older. he took 3 days longer than expected, I thought- 'I'v got a day off Wednesday I'll get my break pads changed and paint Nigel,' oh no, ended up being new discs all round and I'm going to have to spend Tomorrow refurbishing the rear calipers, they are totally seized, have been useing the future mother in laws saxo for 2 days, my fault should have done the pads about a year ago (second note to self- your an idiot)
So anyhow meet Nigel, comments welcome.

Love what you've with old Nigel he looks like a chain smoker to me . Warhammer lead figures? Never played but painted a few back in the day. Good luck with the future too.
