IFOR WILLIAMS trailer project is finished, well that is if a project can ever be truly finished? But i suppose you have to draw the line somewhere, as many of you who fabricate anything will know that there is always another way of doing something. This trailer was painstakingly measured from an original IFOR trailer and scaled down to true scale !!, and while i didn't exactly build it to carry car's it's a general purpose trailer that we see a lot of here in the UK. Many would call it a builders trailer. It's really taken me too long and if you would ever make something with this amount of detail to sell you would never really make any money. So it's just for the love of it i guess. I have built quite a few similar to this over the years , full independent suspension...not leaf spring's as they do not work properly..well not on this scale anyway. Ramp boards that store away underneath, sprung loaded rear door clip, and fully working jockey wheel. Yes you could add extra spare wheels and yes you could have tie down hook's etc, but i will leave it for now... these items are down to personal taste i suppose and i will leave it for the new owner when i get rid of it in the future. I will try and make a video of this running soon i just need to get to grip's with a new cam corder...one things for sure i will never make something like this again, but i am sure glad i did.
Thanks for looking and comments are very appreciated...good or bad.
One final thing i will say to all on TC who make the effort to upload pic's or even just comment on stuff, a big thankyou from me.. without it this site becomes boring and if you are the type of person who just looks...well sorry to hurt your feeling's but you are just a spectator!! ...sorry....WHY not get involved in this club!

That is tasty. I just love the detailing.... Like the running boards and the rear lights. And as for the suspension, it must handle like a dream. A gold star. p.s did you make the arms or are they robbed from a kit?

John the trailer is awesome. Since so many people including myself , would like to own this beauty, Perhaps you should auction it off with a link here on TC. That way everyone would get a shot at it. It would come down to one thing. How deep does your pocket go? Lol But back to the pics. I love them! The truck, the trailer and the RR Look fantastic together. I'm sure you will see these pictures popping up on tamiya101.com Great work mate!

Mark - these UK design trailers dont like Alaskan climates -sorry lol. Superb Job once again John well done. T101
