Well I got this car about 1988 from a guy across the back fence. He was getting out of the racing scene and sold it to me for $200 including a pit box and many spares. The car came with an esc which was quite rare for that time.
I quickly blew up the esc being a complete novice as this was my first real RC car.
So I chucked the Esc in the pit box and put a MSC in place of it.
The guy had painted the cage red at the time but I wanted it black so I added another layer of paint.
The diffs were shocking so this car kinda went into storage for the next 20 years.
I pulled the car out and decided to get rid of all that paint . It was then that I realised it had about 4 coats of paint and the actual cage had been badly scratched to prepare for the first coat.
Anyway I had the ESC repaired (its in my Bulldog 2) and got the damaged cage chromed at a metaliser.
Bormac modded the chassis for me to put in belt tensioners , and improved rear linkage mounts (based on the ones that were on the original car I bought) and showed me how to mod the steering then he remade the steering linkages for me also.
I had new sway bar plates fabricated and added some optima turnbuckles, shafts and yokomo wheel adapters.
So now it as you see it. Hope you like it and feel free to ask any questions, Besty
