This was purchase off ebay some time ago and like my Buggy Champ was missing lots of parts. With my love for customs and my vintage roots this is the end result.
Apart from the standard re-issue parts is a Grasshopper HP suspension kit, this makes the rear axle 'floating' (like the hornet) instead of the rigid original, also are the Hornet rear dampers and front shock collars for better rebound in the front. The nerf bars are parma units and some nice bling added with the aluminum wheel covers.
Lastly from my super-secret vintage stash is a new Technipower motor.....although when this gets run it will be with the kit supplied 380 motor!!!!
I decided to go with yellow for the paint for no particular reason except I'm not a big fan of white....Frank's helmet is copper-colored with a hand-painted vintage spider web design ( I just thought it was cool!)
Enjoy the pictures and all comments and thoughts are always welcome and appreciated.
Thanks
David
