Fire Dragon to Terra Scorcher Conversion
Finally got a bodyshell painted up for my Fire Dragon. I got a repro shell and decals and painted this with Pactra True Blue Pearl. I also replaced the rear shocks with some GPM items as the originals kept popping open at the seal on heavy landings.
The only thing I wish I had remembered to do was to mask the windows!
This is now more Terra Scorcher than Fire Dragon so it's moved over.

Full strip, clean and rebuild with the following parts:
* Fully Ball Raced
* Proline Dirt Hawg Tyres Front and Rear
* Tamiya DF03 Wheels
* 19x2 Orion Checkpoint Motor
* ESC
* Optional Rear Stabiliser Kit
* Steel 15t Pinion (the original was in a sorry state)
This is going to be my vintage 4WD runner, not sure what body to put on it yet. I also plan to fabricate some aluminum braces for the A5 part and where the gearbox meets the chassis.
I enjoyed rebuilding this one, bought back a lot of memories for me, I just hope it is as fun as I remember from bashing my thundershot as a kid. It should be better, given the motor, ballraces and modern ESC and radio.
Oh and the steering servo it came with was a ripmax one with a square output. Not seen that before, so I will hang on to it, but changed it out for a futaba one.
It also needed putting together properly as it was missing a load of washers and screws in the wrong places etc... Nothing too serious though.
