Re-release Grasshopper
This is my re-release Grasshopper, built stock with the exception of bearings and speed control. The speed control is an old Sanwa receiver/speedy in one, and it works a treat. I have used the Grasshopper in my backyard with my kids, and I'm surprised at the acceleration even with the little 380. It puts a smile on my face as it 'hops over the grass'. It has to be one of the nicest looking buggies ever made, and good fun to use. (18/4/2014, some new photos, speed control has been replaced so that I can use 2.4 ghz).
Thanks for looking! ;)

Yes, one of the nicest looking RC vehicles in the history of the hobby. And what a nice example indeed. Have you got any pictures of the Sanwa gear?

Thanks for the nice comments. I just uploaded a picture of the speedy, I think it's a Atras Z. It's tight under the driver, but leaves a lot of room to get my fingers into cockpit area, when connecting the battery.

Nice Grasshopper, one of the coolest things of yours is the heated seat!

It is THE prettiest buggy ever, and you've done a great job on this one. They go surprisingly well with the 380 don't they?

Thanks for uploading the extra pic. I thought the Sanwa ESC was a real older model. I presume the car runs better than good with that set up!

Thanks again for commenting everyone. Sorry to disappoint you Mongoose1983. I bought the speed control second hand. I removed it from a very used TA-03, and that's what I meant about old.

Very cool and clean car,but I think you would get some more traction from those rear tires if they were swapped around.
