Hey all your probably getting fed up of the same scorcher all the time but she's my only working one after snapping a rear arm on the other. So here is a quick update of the two combined for optimum low cost modding and running :-) Different chassis set up with mk1 gear box miss matched parts shock set up with no torsion springs which is working really well sits nice and runs really soft no bouncing! painted an old crazed rear cage (removed the Arial point) seen a few white ones from volksrod, srb bloke and skottoman to name a few if that's OK? plus I only had blue spray paint. been working on a rubber sill to go in between the nose and body this is the second attempt not quite there yet but you get the idea, made from old bike rim tape. Yep the bodys still not finished all sills removed and cut in door frame not too well but hey I'm leaning ;-) I need more filler, I don't rate the green squadron filler its too brittle might try some dolphin glaze when I have some spare cash, and I need equipment so as and when :-) lots still to do but she is running so I'm happy :-) Also a pick of my Daughter Effie getting a bit personal with the heap 'Mec'
Cheers TCers. Comments and ideas welcome....
If it ain't rubbin it ain't dubin!

Try Humbrol Model Filler (SRB Bloke's recommendation to me). It sticks well to plastic, is dead easy to rub down & seems to take paint well. It's what I've used & you've seen the results.
