Thanks skywhelp . I just making sure i have spears , since i am way to far from a hobby shop & they don't even have these in Australia yet .
alfettalimo
Congratulation to your nice FAV. I have note that you had the same problems with the driver arms as i had already with my two FAV`s. The Bonnet is to loong for the hands...
Max Power
Looking good matman. So are we going to get some shots of this baby in the desert?
matman
Thanks .
@ alfettalimo , Yes your right on the arms .

very nice job so far buddy, still cleaning my fav runner from it's beach trip couple of weeks ago.... sand really do's get everywhere lol!! being a vintage still has the old hex dog-bones so getting the sand all out was a priority. Ps mine did end up in the sea (not by choice) but has lived to tell the tale, run really well on sand though so looking forward to some great off road shots with that motor .. good idea with the gears mate nice work
mongoose1983
Looks great. Never crossed my mind that decals would look so nice. Excellent job, matman!
matman
Thanks hot-rod , Yer you really need to clean them old hex drives . Gee it must have been a mess . I'm glade i'm not close to a beach i think LOL . There are a few of ya swimming there cars .
matman
Thanks mongoose1983 , They are not to bad , But it will have to do with this runner .
I'm more worryed about the cheap front suspension , alot of bounce .
berman
Fav looks great! I hope you bought lot's of bevel and spider gears too, as those are what normally strip Have fun when the new motor turns up!
Mr duke
WOW!!! super looking FAV you got there
Verrrrryyyy Niccccceeeee
mongoose1983
Re: front susp. Parma used to do small hydraulic shocks for the Grasshopper & Hornet buggies. They do fit the FAV, and that changes the suspension dramatically. I know because I have them on mine. I believe you might be able to find a used pair.
matman
Thanks berman , I do have some bevel & spider gears . But i will need more , as i got them for my hotshot , boomerang runners & blackfoot as well . .
matman
Thanks Mr duke . @ mongoose1983 Ok i will look for some & i was thinking mini T shocks ?. I do have some of them i may size up . Even that the shock shaft maybe to thin .
