Some times it didn't feel like I'd ever get to this point. It's finally done, apart from some mirrors (don't like the originals so I'm looking for some alternatives).
After 13 months work it's not very original anymore. It's got re-re wheels, tyres, front springs, torsion bars, UJ's and switch cover, CRP bearings & damper rebuild kit, Radshape front bumper, various stainless fixings from modelfixings.com and ridiculously expensive new ball race cups. All the bodywork is re-re apart from the body & the door handles & the VW badge which I think is from a Blitzer Beetle. All the filler is from Humbrol, the paint is Tamiya & the decals are from Screen Print Digital. Thanks to SRB Bloke, Scorcherkid & others for advice & support.
Right I'm off to find some (soft) sand to play in!!

Very neat and tidy SS, this is the stage where 1 of mine needs to be, running great choice of colour.

This is a great looking SS ... I really appreciate your restraint confining your decals and general 'busy-ness' to the rear of the car, leaving the white uncluttered. Top marks! ...

Your comment brought me to your showroom. Beautiful work. The satisfaction of bringing back to life like that is so much more rewarding than buying new.

Pleased to meet you! Thanks for the positive feedback back. It was a good feeling saving the 2 SRB's from landfill sites or from bring 'parted out'.
