Super Boss (Matchbox)
This Truck is build by my father in the early 80's
Based on a Matchbox modelcar from that same years.
The body is custom made out of wood and put on a Tamiya F1 based chassis with Competion Special parts.
My father raced against a Ligier Js9 Competition Special once and beated the Ligier Js9.
Don't what kind of motor he used but he thought it was a tamiya Blackmotor.
I still have the matchbox car but thats not in a great shape.
So I find some nice examples on the net.
I knew it was hidden for a longtime but this car must be showed!!!!!!

Awesome truck!! Back in good old 1983 I used to have the Matchbox model that inspired your model truck. That Superfast model was inspired in the legendary Tyrone Malone's Super boss race truck. That man's still a motorsports' legend.
