Got this one a while ago, just never got around to posting it, it is a F103gt, one of the last variation of the very long running F103 F1 chassis, Tamiya shorten the the width to 190mm to fit touring car size body and uses standard 12mm hex wheel hub, which draw me to his chassis to begin with, I was originally going to get the chassis kit as I think it has better parts inside but after seeing this body I had to have it, the fact that it is a factory finished body is a bonus (I get lazy sometimes) the fact this that it is direct drive and uses touring car body (different mount post location) and wheel gave me the idea of some crazy top speed runs in the future, but as I found out even with the stock 540 motor this car is very touchy to drive so I just put in a black Sport Tuned in it and it is very fast already as soon as it stop spinning in circle. as I like to keep my cars looking good at all time like you guys, I tried to prevent the chassis from being too scratched up by using some 3M made clear plastic film that is sticky on one side and glossy on the other, these film was design for covering sponsor decals on motocross and ATV racers, I've also used a sheet made by Team Associated that is stiff like a piece of lexan and it is not glossy and the 3M is easier to apply, I tried to use it on all my cars with a plate type chassis, what do you guys think.
