One year on.....
I started to get back into RC about 12 months ago. At the time all I had left from my previous cars was a Mardave Mini, another as spares, a toy Fiat 500 and a few Hornet and Grasshopper left over parts. Now my daughter and I drive our cars a couple of times a week, and this little lot is what we have built up in a year. There are three buggies which get the bulk of the usage; a 2010 Holiday Buggy, the orange Hornet and the Cobra. The Alitalia Grasshopper is the first choice for any beach runs though, and is still my favorite buggy. The Apaches were great finds, and are very special to me. The Cobra was a cheap auction win, and is a real surprise. It is a great runner. There are a few vintage buggies (Apaches and Holiday Buggies), a CC-01 for longer, slower runs and a few shelf queens too. We also have several toy grade cars, a couple of which are based on some larger models we all know. The best value new buy has to be my daughter's Rising Fighter - great cars for the price, and we have the Mardave Minis and Banger for indoors fun. Lastly, there is the QD Gravel Hound, which will be my nephew's Christmas present. The collection certainly grew more quickly than expected, but I think that is it for now. Probably. Thanks for looking.
