I know its not a Sand Rover (YET!) Pt 1

OK where do I start with this one. I've long been watching people go for the black chassis look, so decided to try it. Initially this was going to be a scorcher tribute to Dante77's fantastic Ford Ranger. Then I found an extra Rover Shell in the basement and a battered up old chassis. So now its going to be a J-man style Sand Rover. So carbon fibre chassis and radio box will now be....... erm.......something else. Did all that make sense? I've found the ball joints on 3 racing tam tech shocks a bit sloppy in places I.E. wrong size thread for SRB mounts. Can any one recommend better ball ends?

Servo saver, Ujs, Front swingarm pins and steering rods all super champ toughened parts.

Mk I rear arms with double bearings.
