Manta Ray – The Ancestor

I have built quite a few buggies and trucks based on the good old manta ray chassis so I though it was time I built the original.

I bought it as an original new built chassis with an unpainted shell from eBay. It was nicely built and came complete with the box, original decals, instructions and leftover bits.

The original unpainted shell (from the days before the protective film) was very scratched so I painted up and decaled a new Re-Re one.
