Toys they're not.
'Toys they're not.' I think these are the most famouse words Tamiya every printed on paper. This here is a quite rare Radio Control Guide Book form 1983. With the Brabham BT50 on cover page and the Lotus 79 and Martini Lotus79 on the second page exploded view. This Guide Book includes alot of great pictures from the early days of Tamiya R/C cars. This piece is in great, like new condition. Even the pages do a bow when you turn them. Enjoy some of the shots I have taken....

agreed these catalogues are great. I still have mine from 1985. I use to go through it everyday as teenager, looking at the cars I wanted, but couldn't afford.

i had a copy with the Grasshopper on the front (83?), I spent ages reading the articles and looking through the pics long before I got my first model; a FAV. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for your comments! I also have guide books with the Grasshopper, the Hotshot and the Bigwig on front. But they are already quite used as I still read them through minimum once a week This one I will have to take care much more. It is like it were taken from the shop yesterday.
