Quick WIP update. New gearbox, original dogbones needed an extra O ring to get them to fit with the slightly wider MadCap rear hub carriers (cheers Thommo). Fitted the shocks and the stock front end. Original wheels trimmed and rubbed down to sort out the scuffs, black M4 lock nuts. Sport Tuned motor. Battery to go horizontal for now just cos I want to get it done, and I can always move it later.

Now to get the shell sorted.

Looking good, Fibre-Lyte carbon goodies? I'd love to see pictures of it in action!

Those shocks look great! What brand / item code are they? I adore the Astute! Cheers, Alistair G.

You didn't buy Madcap rear hub carriers but Bear Hawk ones. They are larger because BH wheel axle is shorter than Astute one. The ball bearing offset is different and inner BB is more close to outer. You can solve with Bear hawn half shafts or Top Force/Thunder Shot Universal Joints if I remember well.
