Well I have had this bodyset sitting in the loft for a few years now and when I heard that Tamiya was set to rerelease it I thought I would build it. Before starting the painting I was already looking for a chassis on ebay. there is a few ff01 chassis in my shed but for this I wanted something a little hopped up already. I was hoping for something with a frp chassis to turn up but after a few weeks of looking I spotted this. It has loads of alloy including a front shock mount front/rear wishbones front rear hubs a carbon rear shock tower and some alloy rear parts which I have never seen before. I think they are made from gpm but im not to sure. Anyway to finnish the model off I added a cockpit set and some original wheels which I found lying around in my parts stash.
Thanks for looking and please feel free to comment.
