With the release of the rere Holiday Buggy I finally had an option for a decent runner chassis for my Sand Rover. I started this build just before Tamiya announced the release of the rere Sand Rover.

I spent time messing with rear shocks as I didnt want them to poke through the shell and went with a carbon fibre damper mount and short touring car dampers. The fronts are just like my Holiday Buggy shortened damper mounts and short dampers and luckily no holes in shell to fill in. I just have to find a way of hiding the holes in the shell both original shell mounts and the part of shell I had to cut away to clear the old Mardave gearbox I used to run. One body mount hole is hidden by a scale looking rc car (Tamiya Stadium Raider?) the other side I have plans for a duffel bag or similar.

Width of suspension arms have all been modified for narrower track, the wheels are the old ones of my Buggy Champ with my own copies of SRB blokes 315 tyres (not anywhere near as good hence why I bought new ones for my Buggy Champ from SRB bloke)

Rear cage is a modified SRB cage and the exhaust I have had for a long time and to be honest I cant remember who made them. Front bumper is of course a Radshape Wild One/FAV etc item.
