My son's first Tamiya
After working countless hours, my son and I finished his first Tamiya RC model. It was a pretty tough decision on which one to get, but in the end I decided to go with a classic. He worked really hard on it and I only helped when asked (went back and fixed things after he went to bed :) ). Anyway Enjoy!

Yeah thats great! My daughter and I finished her first FAV recently. It took ages but she managed with my support very well. It is some kind of a special feeling for the kids when they finished a R/C model

Thanks for all the great comments. The paint was all his idea. I masked it off and taught him how to use a two-stage airbrush. He did a great job for his first time.

Your son's done fantastic , there's nothing better than building something from scratch ,it gives a great understanding of mechanics and i think he will appreciate it even more knowing he built it.
He's got that tamiya twinkle in his eyes for sure
