I've had this one since the early 90's and use to race it locally, I don't have much time for that anymore so I thought it deserved a restoration (non-boxart) before its retirement to the shelf.

Enjoy, and all comments are appreciated.

Okay that is one SWEEEEEEEET Wild One. I think it might be cold as a photo or two got out of focus slightly, but that is very cool. I think all it is begging for is some Bilstein decals for those shocks.

Thanks again to everyone for the great comments. I am glad to have inspired some as I have been inspired by quite a few TC members along the way. Even though this buggy has a different look from when I was racing it, I will always look at it on my shelf and have many fond memories of the fun I've had with it.

Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday season!!

Quick question, is the cage painted? If so, just primed and sprayed. Curious as I want to change mine also

blackfoot dave

11-Dec-2011

@mtbkym01, yes the cage is primed and sprayed with chrome spray although it ended up looking an aluminum color in the end. The cage and chassis tub are re-re FAV everything else (except whls/tires) are original parts. If anyone is interested in seeing what my original WO looked like check out Assi74's Wild One in his showroom, he got all my spares from this build to make his WO.
