Hi all,
I've been wanting to build one of these, but with a more realistic stance, more of a scaler diesel truck. So after some sage advice (thanks Wyo), I bought a kit (Bronco) with a CC chassis and got to work. Had to lengthen the chassis to fit the F350 wheelbase and I think it might turn out looking OK. Need some better wheels and tires, but the bronco stockers are growing on me.
While I was waiting on the chassis, all I had to play with was the body bits, so I went nuts with lights (you know me). The grill and rear bumper came out nice, and I pulled out some stops and put some marker lights in the mirrors, Cab roof light too.
The long term plan is to put a snow plow on it for winter and then build a scale 5th wheel travel trailer to pull for summer fun. A big one (36') with room slides and all the goodies. That's for later...
Thanks for looking. Let me know what you think so far.

rear plate lights - cool front end full lighting with fog lights mirror side marker lights - not a cake walk body and stock chassis - nothing new here new rear suspension body on chassis mocked up with snow plow new wheel hubs & tool box in bed pull toy trailer kinda like this mirror light detail - not for the faint of heart

I think it looks great. I now want to come hide out at your place and watch you build. I have been thinking along the lines of building a class c motorhome. I don't know when or where I will start.

Thanks Guys.
@Crash Cramer - I added a pic of a trailer type that I'm thinking about. Lots of styrene!
@Wyo - thanks again for your help.
Also added a pic of the mirror light detail. Very small work.

Holy crapola, that mirror lighting is a trip. I am astounded at the skills and patience. Are you married??? If so how do you keep the wife out of your hair?
