It's really simple and doesn't need any modification.
Simply use a 18 teeth hole and a 20 teeth hole in the gearbox as you can see in my pictures.

oh, just done the math, that would make it a 24 tooth pinion lol

I don't know if the trick can work with TL01 but I suppose Yes, why not?
I never though to use also a bigger pinion gear... so 24 teeth could mount?
