Maisto Samba Bus
Another one ticked off the list! I have wanted one of these for AGES, being a HUGE VW fan! Always found them a bit on the expensive side for a toy-grade vehicle tho, so finding one in Croydon TK Maxx for £32, reduced from £90, was a no-brainer! Slightly modded already, as I have ditched the ugly basher-bumpers and attached the chrome bumpers to the shell, and I've ordered some VW stickers from ScreenPrintDigital to let me sticker-bomb it a bit! It has LED's front and rear, the fronts changing from low beam to high beam with the flick of a switch. Seriously thinking about ditching the chassis though, as the steering is apalling, so may be on the look-out for an M04-L soon! Sadly, this hasn't got the MP3 player some came with, but its not the end of the world!

Some Maisto RC's have very interesting bodies for our tamiya's chassis, this one is a great project for a M chassis. i have in my mind to do a similar project with their Audi R8 1/10

what a beautifull body!

Love these, my friend has a stunning green and black splitty which has been in magazines. I'm waiting for the Tamiya camper shell which i'll paint the same as my friends 1:1 and stick it on a road chassis.

Hi,
You can do something great with this one and a M-Chassis M04-L for example
Volksrod
My mate bought his a week ago in TK Maxx for £31. They are a pretty good fit on a Beetle M chassis. Rear wheel drive one you need so you can narrow the front end for good steering, and get the front end slammed down! Look for the HPI Porsche Fuchs wheels that came on in the Cup Racer cars, available in staggered fitments

Nice machine! Looks beautiful. Nice work

These really are quality in the details. I was in that TK Maxx a few years ago quite a few times had a look for shells and figures no luck well done on finding this looking forward to seeing what you do with it
