finally got around to putting some radio gear into the Tundra which had been sitting on a New built chassis for a year or more. I originally built this one many years back and then it got parted out for other scale trucks but I kept the body as it took so long to paint and when a Scratch & Dent box damage tundra kit turned up cheap on Tamiya USA I bought it sold the new body set and stuck my old body on which still looked new as it had been stored in bubble wrap, a long boring story but since I finally got a stick radio with shift gate for it and got it off the shelf again for a run. I had not driven a 3 speed for several years and they are very fun. The only problem is the stick radio which makes it hard to take pictures while driving but I tried as best I could. The outdoor temp was bitter cold and my camera shutter was sticking but I got a few pics before it froze up...the truck however worked perfect in the cold typical of Tamiya quality ;) anyway hope you enjoy the pics from a nice warm chair ;)

Great to see this beast back, that color sheme is good on your truck, but i think it fits great on many other trucks and cars! Good to see some pics with snow, it looks like wheve got not snow here for the first 2 mounth in this winter in 2012!

Neat pics of a nice truck. I especially like the pics of the Tundra out in the tundra. The colder the snow - the better for RC running. Had some in MI last week, now it's 45 and thunderstorms. Go figure.
