I picked this up a few months back after searching for a while. It came upgraded with a bunch of stuff including new brushless system ( still the stock shocks though which I will replace.
I love this little car but the sale was not without major issue. First 5 photos are from the auction listing.. and what I was expecting to receive...Check the 6th and 7th photos that I took of the wheels when the car arrived. I'm sure you'll agree that is some pretty terrible yellowing of the wheels! The previous owner had had it on display and made no mention of yellowing. I opened an ebay case but the seller was adamant that he noticed only 'slight yellowing' on the wheels...but interestingly didn't even feel the need to mention that in the description! He made a real song and dance of this issue which was so annoying. I was just about done with ebay at that point!
I kept the car and have sourced some new wheels.. nice shiny gold ones as in last photo ( cheers Kokozu) will add them tonight and add photo tomorrow.

cheers chaps. what really ticked me off was that the seller was going all out accusing me of trying to rip him off etc... he was getting very emotional about it! All I wanted to do was send ebay the photos and be done with it. I think it will look better with the gold ones too!

It will look great with gold rims! I think that you might be able to use bleach or simmilar to get the yello rims withe again, correct me if im' wrong?

Henrikw, you're right but nothing worked this time! I tried bleach and also hydrogen peroxide, but that was after I had pretty much ruined the tires by trying to soften the glue in hot water. new wheel and tires to be added.

Just how long was it sitting on display after he took the photos, or was the seller color blind. White is white and yellow is most definitely yellow. How does it drive with all the hop up's?

I haven't actually driven it yet! Here is copy and paste from the seller's dramatic response to my 1st email addressing this issue...'I do remember slight yellowing, not significant, the picture does not even show it. As stated, this was on display for years, there is a certain amount of fade/yellowing to be expected. As stated in the auction, questions are encouraged, before bid/buy'' !!!!!!!!!!!!!
The rest of his emails make for great reading but I'll stop it there, this was put to bed last October.
