I like it - how´s the suspension?
IhaveaBruiser
Suspension is nice, the springs are fairly soft and the shocks are smooth.

It looks very nice! How would you compare it to the TF1?

I am very pleased with the truck overall. The tires are very grippy and the trans shifts great. I am going to start an interior on it hopefully today. I can't compare it to the TF1 because I never had one, but the frame design on this one is much more realistic IMO. I have seen the new Bruiser and I can tell you that if its going to be 700+ I will NOT buy one...I will buy some frame sets with leafs and a bed or 2 though. O and SEVERAL interiors and clear windows haha. This truck out of the box is 100x more scaler. The new Bruiser has newly designed axles with differential covers?? on a Toyota axle?? Not my style...I am happy to see the improved 3 speed and that they got rid of the 750 motor with impossible to obtain pinion gear. Don't get me wrong, I am pumped the Bruiser is back, its still the basis for most of my creations I am just not thrilled with all the improvements. I understand that they have to cater to the general market so making axles with differentials so that is more user friendly I am sure was a must. However, I still to this day have never snapped a front shaft and that is with rock crawling and all.

Looks nice and with plenty of potential for more scale details. I like what you have done so far and this looks like the best scale kit setup to date. On the Bruiser re-re, nice to see it, but Tamiya should have addressed a few more items that have troubled the 80's design. Could have done this easily without added cost, such as same width axles and a better steering setup for example.

I agree, I'm also elated to see the old bruiser come back and hope the Blazing Blazer is on it's way too. But I would have prefered they had come out with a more modern, more scale version. The old bruiser chassis was way ahead of it's time when it was realeased in the 80's and well into the last decade, but it needs some updating. The axles are still too wide for most other applications and we are really long overdue for some new ABS bodies. WE NEED MORE TRUCK BODIES!

Great looking rig!

New bruiser? OMG! What am I going to do? Oh, the truck looks fantastic. Well done.

I love what you've done with this, a great job!
I don't own a crawler of any kind but it's been on my wish list for ages. For me it has to be scale, hard bodied and still be able to do the do. I'm really tempted by one of these I've got to say! From what little I've seen, they look really scale right out of the box and appear to be good value. (I'm always on a tight budget) I think there's an option for softer springs and a four link conversion too - would you consider those in the future or would that ruin the scale look you think?
Anyway - into the favourites it goes!

Tamiya should buy a TF2 and a Bruiseruptor. There would be a lesson in that for Big T.
