I like the Mk2 Ford Focus, especially in the ludicrous Ultimate Green paintjob. So I decided to build one :) Chassis is a TA02, picked this up used, was a bit dirty so I stripped and rebuilt it. Added some wheels from TC member Percymon that look similar to the standard RS multispokes ones and gave them a light dusting of silver. The shell is from RevolutionShop. Its a mk2 Focus wrc shell, and I think they are the only ones who make them. I painted the intake surround PC5 black and the body PS28 Fluorescent Green. I had issues with the spoiler, this shell comes with a wrc spoiler which sits at the end of the boot. The road-going focus rs doesn't use this spoiler, it comes with a bespoke roof spoiler. So I had to do a bit of a modification... Comments Welcome :)

Well done, pipped me to the post on this one - I got an HPI 200mm Focus WRC shell and some 6mm offset wheels with the intent of doing exactly the same thing - suits a TA02 chassis better than the ARE2 I was going to use.

Probably licensing/royalties - I think auto manufacturers seem to regard this as another source of revenue nowadays, especially since it became possible to accurately depict a particular make/model of car in products like videogames etc, rather than another way of promoting their brand.

@crazyhare: True, this focus shell is unlicensed, but I thought it would be a popular global model to get hold of for a change, instead of churning out endless jdm and Italian racing cars

Cheers mate, the spoiler is supposed to be on the boot, but I've mounted it on the roof. I've not seen it on any other body kit though.
