Finally Done!!!

OMG this was by far the toughest shell I have ever painted!!! And it took two shells for me to get it right. The first shell I didnt use Polycarbonate paint. So when I shot the white paint on it, it would not cover at all I put a whole can on it and it just would not cover, and it blead threw the red paint. Shell was ruined so lucky enough found a new shell on ebay. When I recieved the new shell I bought the correct paint and tried again, the 2nd time was a charm the paint work came out good. Now time to put the decals on, another nightmare. I was putting the yellow and orange decals on the sides really hard to line them up to and get them to lay flat with know ripples. Took several tries but got them on there and they looked real good. I went to bed got up come to find them stickers all pealed up and pretty much falling off the body. I got mad ripped them off the shall and threw them in the trash. Hoping I could find rere decals, but was unable to. So I bagged the truck and sat it on the shelf and it sat there a good year. I was looking around on the net the other day and came across vinyl decals sheets so I bought a sheet of yellow/orange cut them to size and and put um on and I couldnt be happier as to how it came out. They went on a lot easier no ripples and looks pretty close to how the original. Once on I used black pin stripe around them decals to make them pop a bit more. The truck is full ball raced has a 540 sport motor, and a set of Sees alloy wheels to top it off. It took a year and a half to complete. And I never want to paint this shell ever again. lol...
