I just received this little Mk2 (I believe) SS as part of a trade. When the guy said 'I have a Sand Scorcher' I was expecting anything... and was pleasantly surprised. Everything is tight and good, it seems to have done little to no work. Very happy to own one with the right fenders at last :)
Yes, indeed. The left mirror is gone, but that's it. No MSC, but as far as I'm concerned, it doesn't need a speedy to sit on the shelf, and there is no way I'd drive a vintage with a 2 speed bang box.
