Now what a lot of people may not know about my collection with all the expensive, time consuming, detailed, Jeeps, pickups and Land Rover Defenders I build that probably My personal favorite for being my most outwardly realistic looking truck is my little nearly stock Honda CR-V ;) I just love driving this little guy from time to time with great care of course since it is the closest thing I own to a shelf queen of any of my trucks ;)

1 One of my own favorites 2 next to the 1:1 poser poser with 1:1 again exploring the coral probably cornering harder than I would playing with Bronco in horse corall dirty playing with my Bronco again

With favorites like this, wouldn't it be great to have an odometer? I have a few cars that I would love to know how many, or few miles they have on them... great rendition of your 1:1.

Lol, Thats a great idea Scott, years ago I calculated apx how far my TA02 Mustang Cobra R had travelled based on run time, Average top speed and number of runs but I lost count eventually. A little device would be so cool, I use an Odo on my bicycle maybe something like that could be modded or maybe GPS or similar

Nice to see they are already 2 honda's CRV in your place, in my country they have quite disappeared. i totally agree with you for running them time to time with care

I love the XC CRV, I always wondered if they would rere it. P.S. You can get an odometer for R/C, the Venom speed meter has an odometer function

Looks like a fine example of of scale modeling. How did you make the Wyoming License plates?

The plates are made by minipl8s on ebay, he can make about scale up to 1/5 any type or age of license plate with any text on it. They are printed on durable quality plastic and waterproof

Seth with all the great new models you build it is great to see that you still have some classics that never get old. Great build, great photos. Thanks for sharing.

Yours looks great next to the real one. I wondered why a lot of people dont like this truck, you see it not so much on here. Its so great and detailed. I´m planning another paintjob for myn CRV but not sure about the color. I´ve seen a guy with a copper paint on his CRV and that looked pretty good. The time wil see, i got no hurry with that!

lol, good question as the real truck is one of the most popular SUVs ever sold, they are still all over where I live and I have three or four friends who own them but as a model it just wasn't as popular probably for just those reasons, the real CRV is a very practical car and when people build models they tend to build them of impractical things they want like exotic sports cars or custom trucks and things they probably will never own so the everyday car is not usually a model of choice, I like to do both

So , If you roll the 1:10 does this mean you have to do the same with your 1:1 car , To even it out .
Great work & some good pic's / shots .

lol, it has front and rear open diffs and a slow 55t motor so it would be very hard to roll even on pavement with tight turns at full speed
