Wild Dagger: Carbon chassis 02
As you can see the steering servo position is changed. Now is positioned more near to the center of the car. I did it to give more weight as possible on the rear axle to help the car during jumps. The servo is strongly fixed on a column so it doesn’t move more. A link connects it with the steering linkages. The new steering system allows better work on rough terrains cause the toe angle doesn’t change and, when car dives with the longer dampers I equipped it, nothing touch the chassis. Note the battery position too. The Wild Dagger needed more power so I increased it with a 7 cells 8.4 volts batteries. I mounted them in two parts. Four elements are located in the traditional place. You can see the battery holder is more narrow than original. The remaining 3 elements are located on the rear end of the chassis between the two carbon slices. I adopted this solution always for weight balance. More weight on rear end, better will be the jumps.

Max tu ai listato questa macchina nel 2003 !!!! incredibile, io la mia lo presa solamente nel 2013, purtroppo mi sono perso tutte le hop ups, in particolare front REAR GEAR BOX in aluminio, ho provato a cercarlo in lungo e largo, niente da fare, debbo solo sperare che qualcuno si decida a listarlo, solo a quel punto iniziero la fase di ricostruzione.

Ciao Roberto, è molto difficile trovare quelle parti la. Al tempo erano costosissime e non me le sono potute permettere ma chi le ha avute ha detto che non miglioravano in nessun modo la macchina. Era solo un fattore estetico e poichè la mia è una runner questo era un ulteriore motivo per non prenderle, mi sarebbe dispiaciuto graffiarle. Adesso chi le ha se le tiene oppure le vende a dei prezzi mostruosi. Fossi in te io comincerei a ricostruire la macchina.
