To sit alongside my original
Had to have one of these when I heard they were re-released. Had it sitting here for a while NIB and decided today was the day to build it. Built out of the box stock except modern 2.2 wheels and tyres and non-genuine decals. some parts are being donated to my original being the gold wheels and spike tyres, front shock towers and the yellow shocks will also transfer over once some others get here later this week. Whats great about this kit is we can all see and enjoy seeing this awesome aggresive looking buggy (the best ever IMHO) attacking terrain without fear of damaging such an iconic model. Well done Tamiya, a big thumbs up from me. As always, comments most welcome.

what cool colours! i done mine in the more traditional silver but with a little twist i used starburst silver then backed it with white so it looks like pearl white! but yours looks very good i kept away from red & orange because i thought it might look too much like the hotshot but looking at yours ive been proved wrong! (not that there anything wrong with the hotshot colour!)

Looks great! I use the same wheels on mine but added Proline Dirt Hawgs for tires. Pops wheelies on the street! Have fun with it!

Great job...this wheel/tire combo is really growing on me and I love the fact that you did something more unique with the body/decals.
