Had this truck a while now and although its got its MFU and full electric leg attachments i never actually got round to finishing the paintwork off...well now it's almost done apart a few details. This truck has really grown on me and although it's not to every ones liking it has it's own (unusual) charm. Decided on the silver leaf for the side skirts same as the bumper, had originally hoped to paint them a dk grey but had no other use for the silver can so not wasting money i used it on them instead!!! and not a bad look so quite pleased. Only other additions of late are the telescopic aerial (a must if you don't want the whip aerial taking your paint off and the american eagle decal on the back of the cab which is a little nod to the big american rig its stuck to. Hope you like it guys and one day it will be finally finished .... regards hot rod

thanks skottoman for the compliment... have seen your truck builds and they are superb so glad i have done the ford justice. Kept it simple with metalic black and the silver leaf. Just need to get some owner operator decals done and maybe the animal guard up front??? don't know if that would be overkill or not but liked the look of it so tempted. Cheers buddy regards hot rod

@mad-bee , glad you like it buddy and reckon one day you will get one, not one for those gorgeous beach shots though unless you jack the suspension and put madbull wheels on lol. @matman - have been busy with this and another truck project which is under wraps at the moment , thanks for the compliment mate and yes reckon you right with that bull bar (watch this space) . @ pininy - thanks for the comment and reckon the 3 speed rigs probably one of the best line of kits tamiya have produced, the build is really enjoyable and the quality excellent. Guess the only thing can let these kits down is the builder and thankfully have done ok with this one lol, Cheers guys

Cheers kev, still contemplating giving it a clear coat as the paint does chip easily but other than that just the cab interior to finish with some little details and maybe the bull bar then she is done!!! got a king hauler chassis almost completed as well but thats for a little project so keep a look out for that one. Cheers buddy
