From Malta with ermm a lil' abusive love from our postal boys!
Good deal auction win Super Sabre - was nice when I looked at the auction pics but not so ok condition on the outside when it arrived, (probably the Maltese postal dudes decided to play FIFA World Cup with this kit when they processed it!) but nice and complete on the inside (thank-GOD) - good value buy so planned it as a New Built... (again thank-GOD I don't have a build example or else another Top Force EVO fiasco! - see Top Force EVO NIB story!) Again CHEAP so can't complain... (Thank GOD!)

Ahhhh now that brings back memories... this was my second ever car after my grasshopper many many years ago and going from the bouncy simple hopper to a four wheel drive serious off roader like this was awesome!!! had only been out a few months when i got mine and raced it at an indoor track in a coastal town called skegness in the UK . Nearly all the hire cars available in there were 2wd mardaves if i remember right and those who used their own cars had hotshots and the like..... it blew them all away (i was a surprisingly good driver back then lol). Anyway i have still to finish my new build from parts but the shell is proving impossible to find so may use the tbg one. Thanks for the memories of a super car and an unsung classic. Enjoy the build my friend

hot rod: Aahh so this is your other nostalgia car! Yes I remember the HotShots blew alot of the cars of that era away, maybe with the exception of the FOX coz I had one and raced HotShots and was quicker at straight-line. And yes you're right to say the least that the Super Sabre parts are increasingly very difficult to find, especially the bodyset and varous 'red' parts. I initially thought okay maybe I could but a nice cheap ex-runner but when I did my research and found parts were hard to get I bit the bullet and bought this NIB to use as a New Build since the opportunity came buy and it was cheap!
