Hi Everyone, i have finally complete building my project Sand Rover 2011. Took a while to complete because of work, but i think its all worth it. No fancy paint job, i kept it simple. The wheels are all buggy champs rears, FAV front headlights and so many mods more, mods are available at my tutorial. Anyways, just to keep things short, i had fun time building it. Hope you guys would like it. Thanks for Looking.

Lots of great mods! These things seem to be very popular on TC at the moment, and yours is great!

Clean, simple and with exellent scalelooks. This is the way the rerelease should have been made from the start. Good one!

Fantastic job Clem and exactly how it should have looked like in the first place. Two steps forward and a long look back.

Very nice indeed! I like the way you have modded the rear end to clear the gearbox, and also fitting the rear guard.. Good job. I may need to think of something similar for my own, as i have one of those Duratrax VW-dummy-engines lying around.
Mine is also narrowed, but i have the same rear wheels, but a set of SRB Blokes Sand Blaster 315´s up front on stock Buggy Champ rims.

Great idea with the black and ornage rims too.. Really sets it off nicely.

Cheers.

Thanks for the kind words guys. @gozone: intitially the front wheels are the narrow type. I added rear wheels to the front to give the buggy a meaner look. Cheers, Clem

Very nive work there, all mods are great, Loving the body mods and drivers shades etc. Front axles stick out a little, but you've done a fab job of hiding that. All it needs is tyre lettering.. hopefully we'll see it on the beach very soon.

Great looking buggy, looks like the scale stance of the original but I bet it runs and handles better like the new one, nice work

These always look the best in orange, youv'e done a superb job on this one, it's such a shame the re-re wasn't closer to the original, this look's awesome

That looks great! Makes you wonder why Tamiya didn't take the extra effort to make the DT02 chassis a better fit for the body with the few needed parts.
