This has been a pleasing challenge to construct, more so than I anticipated. I have not had this much fun building a kit since the Porsche 959. As you can see I have attached the front and rear differentials to the chassis along with the centrally mounted gearbox. It proved to be quite tricky joining the drive shafts from the diffs to the gearbox. Steering and suspension arms are complete and also attached. I had hoped to recycle some old radio gear but could not seem to get any to work so I splurged on the basic Futaba pistol set for $45. As you can see I have installed the mechanical speed control, as I want it to be all original Tamiya. I am really glad I purchased all of the hop-ups because I think that they make the kit look very smart and are functional. Highly recommend buying full ball bearings (OK I confess these are DuraTrax, Tamiya bearings are way overpriced). The kit comes with brass bushings, but with this much metal and weight, bearings are the way to go. So all I have left to do is complete the mechanism deck assembly and to construct and attached the oil filled dampers (Tamiya hop-up). I plan to paint the body but need to purchase an airbrush kit. If you can recommend one, please let me know.

Will post more pictures as I go along.

*** Update 2nd July 2003. Completed the suspension, installed the mechanism deck and put the wheels on. I put the Jugg next to my GrpB to help give you a perspective off how big this kit really is. Pretty huge and will only look bigger with the body added
