new boomerang 26 years on

this car was just the perfect step up for me back in 1985.oil filled shocks,4WD,RS540 motor,looked fantastic,but the number one thing it was affordable.so after a long money save selling my grasshopper i had enough money for this and futaba attack R radio gear.with me being the owner of the GH for two years before with its unchanged RS380 motor,this went like a rocket, handled great and could get up to the right speed to jump without nose diving. got some great childhood memorys with this car raceing my mates cars (frog, blackfoot,other boomerang) one thing i dont get is why it took me so long to get one when it was re-re,think maybe i got caught up chaseing the other re-re that i did'nt own.Anyway made up for that now got three one NIB,one near to completion and this. the boomer with its colour scheme and looks, i have always thought it was the perfect off road buggy for the late GREAT evil kenevil it in my opinion was tailor made for him.(if he was ever going to use a buggy!!) thanks for looking all comments welcome.
