Finished restored (Sold)
Finally done with restoring the Blackfoot, started out with the chassie who were missing some vital parts. I'm happy with the result :-)
If I should do anything more, it would be to paint the wheels, but not sure if I can afford to 'destroy' them by painting them.
I sold this one since i got my self another more box art Blackfoot. Not sure if that was the right thing to Do but notihing i can Do about it now.

thanks everyone, I must say I also love the Blackfoot in white. Yeah I have seen way to many blackfoots with Monster Beetle tires, and it's just wrong
I payed about $28 for them.

i think the body lines and decals are shown much better with white color.

Awesome in white and I bet the re re Bruiser will help us all get some much needed Blackfoot tires. I think ProLine made dyable rims back in the day, wonder if I have an extra set around here. If you did go white on the rims, you should think of a red pin stripe like the old school wheels were.

yeah, i did buy a set of Bruiser tires, but i haven't used em yet. it's the original tires on the car now. I agree with you a red pin stripe on the wheels would look awsome. have a look and se if you got the wheels still and name you price
