This was a local pickup off ebay for £125. Having collected I was amazed at the condition, it's had VERY little use and in great condition. It's painted blue but it's a decient paint job, Willy not painted the best but I can re-paint. Wheels have been painted gold but it came with a spare front and back. All 4 tyres are in perfect condition (so is the spare :) ). Two period servos and reciever no transmitter.

Run or not?

Looks pretty good. I like the Wild Willy in blue. Not a fan of the wheel color, but it sure looks like it is in great shape. Excellent purchase.

I think it looks good enough to deserve a careful run on a sunny day Nice find.

That sir is nice!If you're gonna run it save a set of wheels for running and a set for shelf. I would stick to The MSC and be as original as possible. There's a company in California that make s the hump batteries and they're about a tenner a piece. Buy a beater for the body as it flips a lot at speed and the body is a fortune to find and the grill breaks easy. You could fit an old shell for running that way no damage to the original. State side they go for any where from $75 in rough shape to $450 in premium shape. Depends on the need. I have an old original in parts for a project if you want to part with some cash that way you have spare s and a shell to run.
