The weekend of 9th and 10th of June sees my club host the '2012 Castle Hill Vintage Buggy Festival', which has kindly been co-ordinated by TC member RETRO R/C (Love your work Darryn ;-) ).

The club included a vintage class in its racing schedule to give some of time to prep what we are going to run at the festival. I put my Supershot through its paces (see the June 2012 Vintage Race Practice day - Supershot album) and also gave my egress runner its first taste of race day action. It was only a small field of 5 buggies in the vintage class, given it wasn't widely publicised, however, they were ALL TAMIYAS. A frog, a Stadium Blitzer, a Stadium Thunder and......wait for it....2 Egress. Mine runs the box art silver and the yellow egress in the below photos is run by a mate of mine, Ed.

Once I got some setup issues out of the way, the egress performed quite well, however, I'm sure an extra tooth or 2 on a pinion gear should really see it improve greatly. Looking forward to the main event in a few weeks :-)

Love it.... always great to see an Egress in it's element but two is just awesome. Thanks for showing your friends yellow Egress..... I'm about to paint my latest Eggy and couldn't decide between lime green or lemon yellow..... I think it'll be yellow now

@type49rs. Good choice with the yellow option. It really does go very well with egress decal set.....and if your intent is to race it, the yellow makes it very easy to view on the track.
