Kyosho/Graupner Minitz 06 Mini Cooper
Very lucky find this one. As the title says, it's a Kyosho Minitz 06 Mini Cooper. It's 1/12 scale and powered by a tiny 06 glo engine. It's never been run so is nearly mint other than misshapen foam rear tyres and the paint job could have been done better. As a nice bonus it came with it's box and remains of it's decal sheet. A pleasant surprise was also found in the box in the form of some original Tamiya decals, mainly Scorcher ones. As I said this was a lucky find and I wouldn't have it in my possession if it wasn't for jeffy spotting it and telling me about it. Cheers mate! :)

Will this be the first mini you've handled Mark? Is that a British Layland sticker on the rear quarter

Cool interesting little model... will you give it a run or will it be for show only? On a side note; I thought that with those Oil Seed Rape fields in the background that you must be fairly local - a quick look at your profile & indeed we live in the same county Lol!

Thanks for the comments so far gents. @Gingerspice - That is indeed a British Leyland decal on the rear quarters. One of the main things that attrcted me to the model. How sad is that?
@DerbyDan. As it's new built I don't think I have the heart to run it so it will be a shelf sitter. The photo was taken just outside Hardwick near Wellingborough.

Ha Ha - I know it well, I live in Wellingborough - & flew model planes down Hardwick Lane!

@DerbyDan. Small world! I'm originally from Wellingborough and lived there for most of my life (apart from a few years in Kettering) and have only just recently just moved down the road to Northampton. Have you still got the green VW Derby? I've seen it a few times out and about.
DerbyDan
Small world indeed! Yes I still have the Silver/green Derby - although its currently SORN & awaiting a re-spray (need to find a bodyshop I can trust :-?), sludgeguts, you have a great collection of R/C cars (been nosing through your showroom) - I'm more into the old racers but love a good Tamiya! I used to race in Irchester (circa 198 Then Burton Latimer, & now at Kettering Model Car Club.
