Since my shelf had my new Sand Scorcher, a nice Super Champ, a pretty nice Ford Ranger, BUT an unfinished Rough Rider on it, I decided to do something about that.

I do have a set of proper Rough Rider and Sand Scorcher decals, but can't bring myself to open them !

so this guy has the Buggy Champ decals, which for me is perfectly fine, as being a racer I'm all about modifying stuff, and don't care at all about originality that I know some members really like to have.

Currently has Scorcher tires on it, which I'm sure if I get a set of Buggy Champ ones, I'll swap out at some stage

The paint is Testors Red Metal Flake, which I put about 7 light coats on after multiple coats of Tamiya filler primer, so it does look nice !

still a couple little things to finish, like the shocks which I'm rebuilding at the moment

thanks for looking !

I really like the color you chose for it. Not a fan of the fake sponsors, but you can always cover the free-flo filters decal with some repro or vintage one. With the new wheel/tire combination it will only look better. Again, great color!

Sounds like your shelf is complete and will make a great pic... Nice work on the paint..

looks great - a couple more spot lights on the front would work too

Thanks everyone !

I think the front spot lights are a good idea, will do that soon, and some more decals from other sets I have, just to mix it up a bit.
