Red Runner

Here are the remaining parts from a total of 6 foxes. I am planning on building one more so I have a second runner to run with others. So I will have 1 perfect, and 2 runners and 3 whole foxes of spares.

I just went through my parts and I have everything to build two more foxes, not one, while still having 2 full spare cars. But what I do need is a full set of control arms (F & R parts trees). They can be used as it will be on a runner, do any of you have any spares from your restoration or whatever?

I have no idea why they didn't re-re the Fox. Its one of my favorite 2 wheel drive cars of all time. Eventually I will get around to building this one. I have a pretty clean body ready for paint that already has the stickers on. I think I might paint this one red.

UPDATE 7/10/12 (10/7/12 for you europeans): I have built most of it. Need to build the shocks and paint the body, then the red runner will be done!

UPDATE 7/12/12: Nearly done. Just need to build the shocks and paint the body. Without the shocks it actually looks kind of cool. Of course, it wouldn't work as the butt drags on the ground.

UPDATE 7/16/2012: Finished, painted, and running. Works great with the Technipower motor. I had taped up the windows but then I decided I wanted to paint the rollcage silver. Once that dried, I painted the body... doh, I forgot to retape the windows. Oh well, just need to figure out how to remove the paint on the windows... maybe laquer thinner.
