My pride and joy.

I saved forever to buy this car when I was young. As with the fox, I bought an extra body, one for display and one for running. As you can see in the pictures, I used the heck out of this thing. I also had a corvette body I ran a lot. I don't know why, that porsche body is so awesome, but at the time I guess I though the corvette was cooler. Kids are weird. In the late 80s I was running it in my buddy's empty pool (super fun) and it jumped out and broke a few parts on the front end. They didn't make any spares anymore, and ebay didn't exist yet, so it went into a box not to be seen again for 20 years. I found it in the box, and ebayed for parts and eventually got them. Restoring this car is what got me back into my tamiya obsession after 20 years of not touching them. It runs great now and still hauls ass for its age.

Update 2012: I have since got a new 959 that I run and this one is nearly new. New tires/wheels and skid plates etc. Its almost perfect. The runner is now a true basher that is very beat up.
