My oldest and newest car.
Just opened this from an ebay buy. Got a good price on it since the re-re has come out, but this is an original. Even has ancient servos in it. Was thinking about running it but its got such a great body and is so fragile, I might have to make it a shelf queen. Of course when I opened it up, one of the headlights was broken off, gotta glue it back unfortunately. Also as the ebayer mentioned, all the tortion bars are broken. Can I use the Re-re parts to fix this? Anyone know? Also thought about using some light weight metal rods, seems like that would work a little better. Anyway, I am excited to build this one up. Also got a sand scorcher from the same seller who was selling a ton of stuff... probably a TC member I would assume.
With the xr311 sitting on the King Hauler, now I think I should paint the semi in Army colors... pretty sure I won't as I usually do box art, but it would be cool.

The rere used sheet metal springs instead of the plastic torque rods.

Looks like a nice buy, very complete.
The middle most parts of the torsion bars (tension setup parts) look the same as my rere version but the bars themselves are flat metal strips so they wont fit into the arms i think.

Thanks futureworks for the detail! Much appreciated.

Nice buy, looks complete and nicely build. The plastic torion bars are almost always broken on 311's and cheeatah I have looked at on ebay.
Some of the re-re parts might fit but the torsion bars have been replaced with 1mm metal strips and the openings in the suspension arms and setup parts have been adjusted to that.
