My Best Experience
With the Pumpkin I share so much tinkering and good and bad experiences, since I owned a runner for very long. The model has seen most of my tuning measures, from stock motor over Technigold to Reedy Pink Dot, several ESC's, and oil dampened CVA's, not to talk about the always recommended ball bearings.
It beared everything I loaded on it. It ran and ran, and ran ... just like the magic Volkswagen Beetle.
Today the runner has gone, since it was badly battered after all, no more TIA sticker! It has been replaced by this shelf queen, which is offering no great surprizes apart from ball bearings and Wild Willy 2 wheels/tyres. The Willy wheels required a special hex drive at the rear axle, which has been machined upon a drawing I made.
Obviously my main problem is painting, so this truck even lacks its paint job like many other of my models. And I am looking for clean chromed or aluminium shocks that can be polished.
Since I've been asked, I confess that I skipped the bumper, like on most of my shelf queens, except the 3-Speeders. I don't like the toy-style bumpers, and I guess there will never happen any crash on my shelf!
