I usually stay away from cars out of the first 100, but this one has its legacy in the first 100, so I figured I would make a low bid on it. The description didn't really say much about except that it was in okay condition and the body is good.

Much to my pleasant surprise, this thing is brand new. There is no way it could have been run for any amount of time. Not a spec of dirt on it, not a scratch anywhere. The only issue I can see is the decals were poorly put on and peeling pretty badly. Otherwise its perfect. If I get bold, I may try to peel the decals back and see if I can get them to stick correctly... or if anyone has superhornet decals they want to trade for something, let me know.

It also have some nice aftermarket gold shocks. If anyone knows anything about these, let me know. I might have to swap them out for use on one of my runners.

Anyway, here's the pics.

A real crackin oddball of a Tamiya and I love em! Nice gold shocks your Super H has - did it come with them?

I've got a set of decals if you want 'em, only one missing is the Hornet [Click here]

Great score!! These will probably always be overlooked due to plenty of used originals and re-res around but they really are a great looking buggy. The rim/tire combo and shocks on this one really makes it. I actually bought one for my grandfather years ago only to sell it years later after he was too scared to use it.

Those decals are hard to keep on there. It is a shame that Tamiya didn't go with their prototype decals seen here [Click here] I would have thought they would sell many more cars looking like that, but these are pretty cool in their own right. I don't know where the shocks came from, perhaps they are Duratrax brand.

Those gold shocks are Duratrax units...I have them on my Clod, they are very smooth.
