Great idea and when you have finished, you can get 1 more of each and go 'jun Wantabe' on each one [Click here]

Love the 1st shot.

Cool, you have the pull back version. Some of the small toys were not motorized at all, they just had you put on the wheels and decals.

yeah, there's a whole die-cast buggy collection of perfect little mini hornets and friends (so cute!)...i held off on getting it for now since i've been scouring the bay from vintage falcon and grasshopper 2 parts. ps- did you ever get the thriller night of zombie grasshoppers into the mail?
Crash Cramer
Ben, on the way buddy, sorry for the delay.

Wow, within the last week I had this exact idea. I might have to make it come true some day....great pics.

i gave in an ordered the diecast tamiya buggy collection. there aren't many left out there and i didn't want to regret not getting it. it's pretty sweet - here's a video review i found: [Click here]

The San-S collection, nice. I have a few, would love to get my hands on the 'Chase' car, the RR in special detail and along with the white stand/base, but some day. I only bought a couple of the cars I really liked since Tamiya didn't see fit to put a HotShot out in that collection. Perhaps they will do it again in a couple of years.

ha, yeah. i'm carefully staying away from the lure of hotshots and similar for now while i focus on the the guys i'm most nostalgic about. although i'm sure i'll get there eventually........

chris - you might want to get your hands on one of these (see new bottom pic) while they're still out there!
