Hi again. Here is my second hilux fully restored I finnaly finished it last night. I must say I'm chuffed with it and can't believe it's the same truck considering what a state it was (see my showroom). The paint work is done in twinpack paint by a professional car body sprayer but all the detailing I did myself. The chassis was stripped down to just the chassis rails and give a light polish before putting it back together installing RC4WD leaf springs and a Tamiya TEU-101BK ESC. Other than that all the parts are original pretty much. I decided to leave it without any decals on and let the paint do the talking. I took it out for it's first run around the garden and wow it looks amazing and the RC4WD leafs actually give it some suspension and quite decent flex. The original Hilux is definately my favourite model and I'm very proud of my two. Thanks for looking, Marcus.

Love the front end on these Articulation shot. With is his restored brother!

Very nice indeed .I like your truck with decals , but this looks amazing without ( I haven't decalled mine either ) I straightened out an old rear bumper by ptting a thin strip of wood that fits into the channel of the bumper into a vice and getly tapped the bumper into shape again , it's never going to be perfect but it is acceptable until a replacement can be found - you could spray it matt black to match the front and it wont show the distortion too much

Thanks for the comment. I'll try that trick of straightening it out. I think I'll just leave it silver if I can't and try to find a replacement. Thanks for the tip, Marcus
