I picked this Avante up on ebay for £175 rolling chassis, Its not an original Avante in the sense that all the parts didn't come in one box the guy i bought it off said he had made it mostly from spare parts he had lying around then just bought a few extra's the complete it but its still an Avante and it will be a good runner once my motor/ESC get here ha ha. It came with the Tamiya sport tuned motor too (nice bonus) i do need to get a set of Avante shocks though, so if anyone has a set already made up they would like to get rid of im your man ha ha

At GBP175 is in any sense for what looks like a as new build is a very good buy! Is the body original or TBG?

Im not sure about the body sunnyjai it was pre cut when i got it

It is TBG one mate,,i was watching this item and asked about the body and been informed that it is TBG.
BUt no matter as long as it is going to be a runner

A very nice buy. It appears to be very complete with the exception of the shocks of course. I couldn't find shocks for mine so I just bought all the parts seperately as they were all still available. Oh and it appears that the driver figure is an original Avante item that has been modified to fit the 2001.... just done one myself

Thanks guys i am very pleased with it, i saw the shocks separately but was hoping someone might have a set ready made, and even better news about the driver, great, ive just not decided what colour to paint it yet......
